SF Kiwis Summer Picnic and AGM

Calling all friends and family of SF Kiwis.
We are delighted to invite you to our annual shindig at the Carousel Picnic Area in beautiful Tilden Park, Berkeley.
Sack races, gumboot tossing, lolly scrambles, egg and spoon races, or even a three legged race anyone?

Our mates at Atkins Ranch have donated a decent bit of lamb for the BBQ as well..
Bring back old memories so you can share them with friends and family at our legendary SF Kiwi Picnic Day.

We'll stoke the barbie, have some chilly bins ready, some tables and food tents ready to roll - so please come and help make this another memorable Picnic in the Park!

Basics are provided, so if you can all "bring a plate" in true Kiwi style (appetizer, main or dessert) and something to throw on the Barbie, then it's a go. We'll have some refreshments and will also need some of yours, so toss in a few tinnies or a vino of your choice! Much appreciated.

Save the Date: Sunday July 26th
Where: Carousel Picnic Area, Tilden Park - oodles of parking
What: BBQ and Kiwi summer fun!
Logistics: Running water, fire pit, excellent bathrooms nearby
Weather: Usually rather warm, so be ready with the sunscreen

COST: FREE - could you please register though, so we can get a feel for attendee numbers. We need to make sure we have enough Watties for you all!

Guests are expected to bring their own drinking water/additional drinks/food, their favorite camping set up, and to help pitch in with side-dishes/desserts to go with the main course in the evenings.

In the spirit of leave-no-trace camping, guests will be expected to help take all of the trash out from the beautiful property. We'll do a racoon proofing every night and various other fun camping things.

Guests will be asked to sign a liability waiver at the site, given the risks associated with camping on a working farm, and there being exposed cliffs. As part of the ticket purchase process, guests will be indicating that they realize the risks involved in camping close to a wild west coast beach at the water’s edge near the tall and beautiful cliffs.
